The Theatre Going Group visits theatres in and around Newcastle, the two most popular being the Theatre Royal in Newcastle and the People's Theatre in Jesmond. Others include Live Theatre, Northern Stage, Blyth Phoenix and the Alnwick Playhouse.
We meet on the odd-numbered months of the year at the Stakeford Methodist Church at 11.30 am on the fourth Wednesday. There we:
- Discuss shows recently seen by members of the group
- Look at up-coming productions
- Pay for tickets
An agenda is sent out for each meeting, usually a week beforehand. It is recommended that you come along to a meeting before buying your first tickets
