This group meets on the second Thursday of the month from 10.30 to 11.30 am at Longhirst Village Hall (although we try to meet a bit earlier for coffee and biscuits).
Our books cover a wide range of genres as they are completely dictated by the wishes of our members. Every month one of our members chooses a book to be discussed at the next meeting and that member researches the author and gives us a little background information and anything else they think necessary.
Our discussions are usually fairly lively but we can digress somewhat into lots of other areas which have arisen from our initial discussion, which adds to the enjoyment of the meeting.
