The group holds informal wine tastings usually every other month on a Friday evening. There is also a joint Annual Dinner held with the Food Appreciation Group in Longhirst Village Hall.

Members volunteer to host an event roughly once every two or three years in Longhirst Village Hall. Occasionally we may invite a local wine merchant along to offer us a selection of their wares and further our knowledge of the more technical aspects of wine production and the numerous grape varieties available. Tasty refreshments (usually a buffet) are also a regular part of the enjoyment of the evening. 

New members are very welcome at any time.
